In loving memory of Wayne Mitchell Hyde, who peacefully passed away on November 28th, 2023, at the age of 69. Wayne displayed remarkable resilience throughout his brave battle with cancer, maintaining a champion's spirit until the end.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Vicky Hyde, and leaves behind a legacy of love through his daughters, Laura Halldin (Jeremiah Halldin) and Jennifer Hyde, as well as his stepsons Steven Kephart (Miemie Kephart), Charles Kephart (Emina Kephart), David Kephart, David Bohall (Peggy Bohall) and their children. Three sisters, Sue Schnathorst, Julie Harper, and Vickie Hyde.
Wayne's life was a tapestry woven with diverse passions. An avid fisherman, collector, and marksman, he found joy in simple pleasures such as bird watching and feeding ducks by the pond. He appreciated the finer moments, often accompanied by the warmth of an occasional glass of whiskey. Wayne dedicated an impressive 42 years of hard work and dedication to Firestone, earning a reputation for the best work ethic among those who knew him.
