Vincent (Vinny) Giovanni Filippelli

Vincent (Vinny) Giovanni Filippelli, born February 6th, 2026, passed in his sleep on March 6th, 2026, at one month old.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Sunset Memorial Chapel in Des Moines. Visitation and service will be held at 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Chapel (7601 Fleur Dr, Des Moines, IA 50321). A luncheon will be served at 11 a.m. The family has asked for casual spring attire so please wear light or neutral pastels.  

Vinny was named after his uncle's Vincent and Samuel. He enjoyed cuddles, eating noisily, and peeing on his dad. His big brother Grayson loved snuggling with, holding, petting, kissing, and poking him. He woke up every day looking forward to seeing Vinny and sharing milk with him. He was quiet, sleepy, loved feeding time and serving looks.

He is survived by his parents Nicolas Filippelli and Jasmine Hoselton and brother Grayson Filippelli. He is also survived by many great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
