Tracy Stoneburner
Tracy Ray Stoneburner was born on September 13, 1967, in Des Moines, Iowa, and was called back to heaven on September 13, 2026.
Services for Tracy will take place at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 7601 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, IA 50321, on Monday, September 21st with Visitation starting at 10AM followed by a funeral service at 11AM. Following the service, burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens. After the burial, all are welcome to attend a luncheon back in the chapel for good food and fellowship.
Tracy was a devoted father who loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He enjoyed camping, especially in Humboldt, and loved fishing with his favorite fishing partner, his nephew Abraham. When he wasn't outside doing what he loved, he was inside watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Denver Broncos, or his favorite shows, Walker, Texas Ranger and Dog the Bounty Hunter. When Tracy's parents were here with us, he loved going to the races with his father and being in the kitchen with his mother.
Tracy is survived by his children, Brandon (Samantha Cortez) Stoneburner, Lindsey Rae, Hunter Stoneburner, and Kaitlynn (Tanner) Stoneburner; six grandchildren; Monica (Brian) Johnston; his nephew, Brian Jr. (Casey) Johnston; and many in the Burriola family, with whom he was very close.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eldon Jr.; his mother, Grace; his brothers, Robert and Dean; and his nephew, Abraham.
Tracy was always surrounded by loved ones and extended family, especially at his favorite summertime gatherings, where he loved to play Yahtzee with the Johnstons and the Burriolas.
