Timmy Kyle Avila

Timmy Kyle Avila, age 71, passed away on June 9, 2026, at San Luis Valley Hospital in Alamosa, Colorado.

Timmy was born on November 14, 1954, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Rodolfo and Doris Avila.

He spent much of his life in Des Moines, where he built a respected career spanning over 30 years at Iowa Auto Top & Upholstery. Known for his exceptional craftsmanship, Timmy was highly talented and earned the respect of both colleagues and customers alike.

In recent years, Timmy made his home in Moffat, Colorado, where he lived for the past seven years.

Timmy will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Tony and Terry; his siblings, Freddy, Philip, and Trudy; and many friends across the United States. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodolfo and Doris Avila, and his beloved wife, Deborah Ann Davis.

A graveside service will be held on June 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
