Thelma Strong, age 92, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Azria Health Park Place in Des Moines, IA. She was born on July 18, 1931, and was raised by parents Orville and Iola Good.
Thelma was a homemaker most of her life. She was also a housekeeper at care facilities for a few years. She had a passion for collecting Knick knacks and toys. She kept them and the house spick and span. She enjoyed going on vacations with Opal and Earl Thompson driving around the country. Thelma also liked going to family gatherings and attending holiday parties. Thelma lived at Azria Health Park Place for eleven years. She enjoyed all the activities and movies with her friends and the workers.
Thelma leaves behind her children Diane Blair, Linda Crawford, Carol (Chris) Cannon, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and son.
