Sheila Mae Nelson (Lint), 60, of Des Moines, sadly passed away on August 13th, 2022 of natural causes. A celebration of life will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel on Monday, August 22 from noon to 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens afterwards.
Sheila was born August 27th, 1961 in Des Moines to Kelly and Alice Lint. She worked in banking and mortgage for many years and had three children from her first marriage; two daughters, Andrea and Katie, and one son, Michael.
Sheila loved panda bears and had a love for everything Elvis Presley. She collected panda bears and Elvis memorabilia. She was very talented at playing piano and loved music. She was a kind, loving, and compassionate person. She loved her children and her cats.
Sheila recently married Chris Nelson, of Des Moines, and was very happy.
Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Kelly, and her mother, Alice, grandmother, LaDena, and sister Theresa.
She is survived by her husband Chris and her three children, Andrea, Michael, and Katie, her best friend, Tina, her brothers, Rick and Nick, her sister Patricia, and a niece and nephew.
