Sandra “Sandy” Kay (Schwandt) Fuller was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Sandy was born April 24, 1950 in Cedar Rapids, IA. She left this world to be with our Lord and Savior on February 25, 2022.
Sandy married Ronald Fuller June 13, 1975. From this union, three daughters were born: Christine Catherine (Jeremy Maske), Cynthia Dawn, and Sarah Anne (John Schabilion). Sandy had a total of 7 grandchildren whom she loved immensely.
Sandy loved to cook and was known for several specialties including creating her own marinade for beef tenderloin, a homemade Hershey’s Chocolate Cake and goodies at Christmas time that were delicious. She was talented at crafting- particularly sewing, knitting, crocheting and quilting. For several years she maintained a beautiful garden full of flowers and vegetables. Her love of nature and for animals, especially cats, was undeniable.
A committal service is scheduled for 1pm on Thursday March 3, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Chapel & Gardens in Des Moines, IA and there will be a luncheon to follow.
