Pabitra Gajme Biswa

Pabitra Gajmer was born on August 19, 1996, in Nepal, and passed away on September 4, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa, at her brother’s home.

Pabitra came to the United States in 2009 and later married her beloved husband, Deepak Setisurwal, in 2016. She was very happy with her husband and family, and her life was filled with love and joy. Her passing was sudden and unexpected, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Ganga Senchury; father, Prem Gajmer; brothers, Harka Gajmer, Ram Gajmer, and sister, Mary Gajmer; father’s parents, Bahadur Gajmer and Buddhi Maya Gajmer; mother’s parents, Palman Senchuri and Harka Maya Senchuri; her husband, Deepak Setisurwal. Pabitra’s kind and caring spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

She was a loving, kind-hearted person who always thought of others first. Her memory will remain a blessing, and she will always stay close to the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Visitation for Pabitra will take place at Sunset Memorial Chapel (7601 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, IA 50321) on Thursday, September 11th from 10AM - 12PM. Immediately following the visitation, there will be a funeral service from 12PM - 1PM followed by a committal service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
