Nancy was born on January 12, 1956, in Des Moines, Iowa to Lawrence and Mildred Good. She lost her battle with COPD on March 18, 2024, at Iowa Methodist Hospital. We will have a celebration of life at 1 PM on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Easter Lake Park.
Nancy enjoyed camping, cookouts at the lake, laying out, country dancing, and as she would always say, “fighting drunk polaks.” But more than anything Nancy loved spending time with her family.
Nancy is survived by her daughter: Jennifer Roman; sons: Joe, Jon and Josh Spiewak; daughter-in-laws: Brandy Mongar-Pearson, Abigail and Elaine Spiewak; grandchildren: Ashley (Randy), Destiny, William (Anna) Mongar, Kaylee (Trenton) Carson, Isabella Hoffman, Josie (Mark), Melanie, Emily, and Abby Roman, Cataleya, Dani Jo, and Lizzy Spiewak; great grandchildren: Maycee, Mylee, Kayne, and Jemma Watkins, Tessa and Kenna Carson, Haizlee, and Keegan Wichhart, Dallin Armagost, Acesyn, Averie, and Wren Mongar, and one more on the way; brother: Donald Good; many other loving relatives.
Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband Walter, her loving son Bill Mongar, her parents, four brothers, and four sisters.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Sunset Memorial Gardens in Nancys name to help cover the cost of cremation services.
