Milton Dean Hadlock, 57, known as Dean to family and friends, died on Monday, September 11, 2023. Milton was born on September 17, 1965, in Chula Vista, California, but was raised in Des Moines and graduated from Lincoln High School.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 30th at 10:00 am, at the Sunset Memorial Chapel, 7601 Fleur Dr in Des Moines. The family will greet friends from 9:00 am to service time.
Dean was a long-time foundry worker at Iowa Wood Products, where he became a supervisor.
Dean is survived by his wife, Joyce Hadlock; two sons, Randy (Elizabeth) Hadlock, Albert Hadlock, daughter, Sarah (Lora) Daggett, two stepsons, Chad (Sarina) Heckenberg, Adam Heckenberg; sister, Lenore (Todd) Mackey; ten grandchildren; two nephews; and one great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Phoebe Hadlock and his father, Albert Milton Hadlock, Jr.
Memorials may be directed to the family for causes important to Dean.
