Maureen Patricia Miller, 89 of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2022. She was born on March 16, 1933 to Lawrence V Toomey Sr. and Mary A (Plummer) Toomey in Des Moines, Iowa. On June 12, 1949 she was united in marriage to William C. Miller Sr. Maureen worked for the State of Iowa for several years and Prairie Meadows Racetrack from which she retired. She loved being around her family and especially her little dog Tiki. Survivors include her sister Mary Ellen Selby, her children William Jr (Martha) Miller, Patricia (Ron) Roozeboom, Donna Miller, Julia (Gerald) Alcantar, and Barbara Thompson; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; 2 sisters, 2 brothers and 1 great grandchild. There will be a private graveside service for the immediate family.
