Marjorie Joy Weese, 84, of Pleasant Hill passed away December 20, 2021. She was born July 3, 1937 to her parents Walter and Florence (Harper) Cline. Marjorie married Francis “Bud” Emory Weese on August 5, 1955. Within those 66 years together they had two children, Jan and Billy Joe.
Marjorie worked for the Farm Bureau Insurance Company as a supervisor for many years. If she wasn’t working she was sure to be spending time with family and friends, she loved to travel and spent many years as a “snow bird” in Texas. She enjoyed square dancing and bowled for many years. She belonged to the Elks Lodge as a Doe.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Bud Weese, daughter Jan Weese, 3 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. As well as lots of nieces and nephews; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, her son Billy Joe Weese, all of her brothers and sisters, and great-granddaughter Nova.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Weese family.
A funeral service will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel on Tuesday December 28th from 1:00-2:00 p.m. and a private graveside the following day at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
