Lisa Ann Nicoletto

Lisa Ann Nicoletto, 57, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 17, 1968, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Michael Wayne Pauley and Lou Ellen Pauley (previously Doles), Lisa filled every chapter of her life with joy, generosity, and devotion to those she cherished.

Lisa now reunites in heaven with her beloved husband, Brian Nicoletto, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage and life together in Des Moines. Together, they lovingly raised four children: Noah Iseton (Taralyn), Jessie Iseton, Derek Iseton (Lexi), and Nicole Nicoletto. Lisa’s greatest pride was her growing family, and her legacy will continue through her eight treasured grandchildren—Sid, Suri, Isaiah, Sweden, Summer, Sya, Lily, and Gohan—all nearby to carry on her traditions of love and laughter.

Family was at the heart of everything Lisa did. She and Brian delighted in hosting holidays, opening their home and hearts to friends, neighbors, and anyone in need. Their warmth and generosity were unmatched—always offering kindness and comfort without hesitation. Lisa especially found joy in preparing festive gatherings, where her famous holiday punch and peanut butter treats were staples at every Christmas celebration.

Lisa embraced her role as “Nanna” wholeheartedly. She never saw time with her grandchildren as babysitting—it was her greatest joy, and she showered them with unconditional love and memorable surprises. Known as an early lover of online shopping, she took special delight in picking the perfect gifts, making Christmas mornings especially magical for her family.

Lisa’s life was one of devotion, generosity, and joy. She will be remembered for her boundless love, her sense of fun, her thoughtful traditions, and the way she made every person feel valued and cared for. Her spirit will continue to inspire her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A graveside/committal service is scheduled for Lisa on September 18, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 7601 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, IA 50321.
