Lee Hamilton Meyers passed away April 18, 2022 in Polk City, Iowa. Lee was born January 14, 1951 to his parents George Paul and Juanita Violet Mae (Hamilton) Meyers in Iowa.
Lee spent 30 years working at Firestone before retiring. He enjoyed all things involving tractors, he could work on his tractor all day and all night whenever he got the chance. When he needed a nice relaxing break he would take his fishing pole out and go fish – or wind down watching Old Westerns.
Left to cherish Lee’s memory are his sister Nancy Peck, nephew Travis Peck, niece Lisa Peck, and great nephews T.J. Peck & Trevin Peck.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents George P. and Juanita V. Meyers; and his brothers, George R. and Thomas D. Meyers.
There will be a visitation held Monday, April 25, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Chapel (7601. Fleur Dr., Des Moines, IA) from 1:00PM-2:00PM with graveside services to follow. Lee will be laid to rest next to his brother Thomas at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
