Larry Wayne Grant, 73, of Des Moines died in a car accident on August 9, 2023, in Des Moines. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 21st at 2:00 pm at the Sunset Memorial Chapel at 7601 Fleur Drive in Des Moines. The family will greet friends from 1:00 pm until service time.
Larry was born on August 7, 1950, to LaRoy & Golden (Zika) Grant. He was a lifelong resident of Iowa, and enjoyed Iowa being home and being near family. Larry never married so was known to spoil his sister, Rhea, and other family members. He was always generous.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his sister Rhea Lee and numerous extended family whom he adored.
