Kenneth Houseman, 82 years of age, passed on January 2, 2022, in Des Moines, Iowa after battling Parkinson’s disease. Kenneth was born September 17, 1939, to the late Clifton and Mildred Houseman. He was one of 12 children. Kenneth married Patricia A. Houseman in 1958, and 3 children were born from this union. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Houseman, two of his children Kenny and Randy; son in law, Casey; daughter in law, Kathleen; 4 siblings, 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by 7 siblings, his daughter Tammy, and 1 great grandchild.
Kenneth was a devoted father, an avid bowler, a Nascar fan, and friend that was always available in a time of need. Kenneth was living proof of what can be accomplished through hard work, determination, and believing in doing the right thing.
A funeral ceremony will be Saturday April 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Chapel on 7601 Fleur Drive in Des Moines, Iowa. There will be graveside services and a luncheon to follow until 2:30 p.m.
