Kay Voshell was born as Katherine Ann Amato on September 5th, 1937, in Buffalo, New York. Her parents were Salvador and Frances Amato. She nicknamed herself Kay because she did not like Kathy or Katie.
Kay had 6 children. Robert Anthony “Tony” Olati, Michael Witzenburg, Gregory Witzenburg, Brett WitzenBurg, La Verne Voshell, and Theresa Voshell. Kay was a beloved grandmother to Christina, Talon, Trenton, Abigail, Samantha, Sarah and a great grandmother to MiaBella.
Kay was a stay-at-home mom while her kids were growing up. Then she worked for Pamida, Fruhauf, American Salon Circulation and Walmart. Kay was a very social person. She loved to play bingo and crochet.
She is preceded in death by her parents and oldest son Tony. She is survived by Mike, Greg, Brett, Verne and Theresa.
