Judith Jean Carter of Des Moines passed away at home on February 16, 2024, with her loving husband John at her side.
Judy was born in Des Moines on June 16, 1939, to Eugene and Vera (Porter) Allen. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1957.
Judy worked in customer service at Clover Hills Dahls, and a teller at Brenton Banks and Iowa State Bank.
Judy is survived by husband, John; sister Joan of Wylie, Texas, children Charley (Tami), Jodi, Jeff (Rachel), Chris (Susan) Brindley; stepchildren Mike, Steve (Sue), and Joe Carter; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents and great grandson, Tanner Potter.
