Judith Ann Stratton (Gilbert)

Judith Ann Stratton (Gilbert), a lifelong resident of Des Moines, Iowa, entered into the presence of her Lord on December 15, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Stratton, and together they built a legacy of love, faith, and family.

Judy was the devoted mother of Kenny (Deb) Stratton, Dave (MaryKaye) Stratton, Rick (Cathy) Stratton, Donnie (Stayce) Stratton, Melissa (Aaron) Shanks, and Steve (Michelle) Stratton. She was the proud grandmother of Jamie, Josh, Derreck, Amanda, Ashley, Cory, Kasey, Sierra, Cassandra, Evan, Alyssa, Tanner, Jay, Alexa and Leah, and the cherished great-grandmother of eleven. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured herself into each of them with a sacrificing spirit and unconditional love.

A lifelong member of Eastside Church of the Nazarene, Judy’s faith was the foundation of her life. She loved attending any event her children or grandchildren participated in, always cheering them on with pride and joy. To know Judy was to know a woman whose heartbeat for her family, whose love was steady and selfless, and whose presence brought warmth and encouragement to all around her.

Judy’s life was a testimony of love and grace. Though she is deeply missed, her legacy of love continues in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Her family rejoices that Judy is now at home with her Savior, and they celebrate the gift of her life and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
