Jerruld Wilfred Lovell


Jerruld (Jerry) Wilfred Lovell, 90 passed away at home Saturday, December 17th peacefully surrounded by family.

Born in Des Moines, Iowa to George and Lela Lovell and lived in Des Moines most of his life.

Jerry served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954, as a helicopter mechanic.

He was married to Babe, August 25th, 1952. He retired from John Deere in 1987 but also had many other careers. Jerry was a workaholic and was always building or repairing something. Much of his time was devoted to helping others.

Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, dancing with friends, auto racing, traveling, Cowboy Church and shows in Branson.

He leaves behind four children, Debra (Bill) Brown, Rex (Teri) Lovell, Kevin (Zita) Lovell and Brad (Traci) Lovell; he also had many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.
