Jeanne was born in Swan, Iowa to Cleo and Gladys Gamble. The family moved to St Charles, Iowa where she graduated in 1954.
In 1956, she married Gary Watson; they had two sons.
Jeanne worked in care centers in Winterset and, in later years, she did childcare. Jeanne loved children.
Jeanne married Jerald White in 1979 and lived in Truro, Iowa before moving to Norwalk, Iowa in 1993. Their marriage was a great example of what love is.
Jeanne is survived by her husband Jerald White; sons, Tim, and Russ Watson; daughters, Julie Adams, Marsha Solares, and Kim Davis; sister, Patty Reaves; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Jeanne Gamble, Judy Gamble, and Jan Gamble and sister-in-law Gloria.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Gladys Gamble; sisters, Edith (Phil) Johnson and Helen (Bob) Howard, Delores Gamble, and Dorothy (Clyde) Neal; brothers Robert, Wilbur, John, Raymond, Jim, and Donnie; and daughter, Mary White.
Jeanne was a member of the Crossroads Church in Norwalk. She will be remembered for her love of God, family, and music.
A visitation for Jeanne will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 7601 Fleur Drive, from 10 to 11 AM. The funeral will follow at 11 AM.
Burial will take place at St. Charles Cemetery following the funeral service.
