Heather Michelle Whitlatch, 41, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at the Unity Point Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, November 4th from 3 to 6 pm at the Sunset Memorial Chapel, 7601 Fleur Dr in Des Moines.
Heather was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 2000. She worked at the Unity Point Methodist Medical Center in Central Dispatch made many friends while working there. In her time, she enjoyed kayaking, fishing, being with family and was known for her artistic flair.
She is survived by her sons, Dakota Whitlatch & Derek Smith, parents Mike & Kathie Whitlatch, sister Kitty Whitlatch, all of Des Moines.
