Eugene “Gene” Norton, 89 died of medical complications at Unity Point Methodist Hospital January 6, 2021 with family by his side. He was born March 18, 1931 in Spring Valley, Minnesota, the son of Richard B. Norton and Gertrude Fisher.
Gene went to serve in the U.S. Army and was in The Korean War. He was married to the love of his life Mary Norton whom he shared many years with. He had hobbies of collecting cars, working on lawn mowers and shooting Pool. He retired from Fawn Engineering after 30 years of service.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Mary and two sons, Randy and Stephen Norton.
Surviving are his three daughters Cathy (Ed) Hinman, Pam (George) Estes, and Karen Klug, and son Terry Norton. Along with many nieces, nephews, grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandchildren and other family members.
Due to Covid-19 there will be no visitation and it will be a private family funeral and burial.
