OBITUARY:
Dwane William Auch peacefully passed away with family by his side on August 30, 2023.
Dwane was the son of Magdalena M. Auch (Rembolt) and William Auch. Dwane was born on November 30, 1933, in Harold, South Dakota. He learned the trade of window cleaning and made it his specialty. Dwane moved to Des Moines and met the love of his life Linda. They shared a wonderful life together.
Dwane worked for Mercy Hospital for 32 years in janitorial environmental services. He retired in 2019. Dwane also owned his own window cleaning company named “Dwane’s Window Cleaning”. He was a very hard worker and cared very deeply about his family. He had a big heart, and this extended to friends and everyone who he came across. It was proven that he would help anyone who needed it.
Dwane is survived by his children, seventeen grandchildren, and thirty great grandchildren.
Dwane was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, his sisters, his wife Linda, a son Billy Auch, and a great grandson.
Funeral Services will be held on September 5th, 2023, at 2:30p.m. at Sunset Memorial Chapel & Gardens, 7601 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, Iowa 50321.
