Darwin Wayne Mott 09/02/1944 – 3/14/2022
Darwin’s parents were Howard D. and Zatha E. (Busick) Mott of Pleasantville, Iowa. Darwin married Nancy A. (Herron) on May 16, 1970. They had two sons, Eric W. Mott and Ryan D. Mott.
Darwin worked for Eagle Iron Works for 40 years. He was in the Army and served a year in Vietnam. Darwin enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing horseshoes. He loved his family very much and enjoyed his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Arlen Mott, sister-in-law Cinda Mott, and nephew Tim Mott.
Darwin is survived by his wife Nancy; sons, Eric (friend Diana) and Ryan (Lynnsey) of Carlisle, IA. Grandchildren; Samantha Mott, Tyler Mott, Rylee Mott, Evan Mott, and Haley Mott. Great-grandchildren; Atlas Thompson and Willow Thompson; and 2 special children Abi and Hunter. Sister-in-law Pam Denning of Burlington, IA.
Tuesday, March 22nd a graveside service will be held at 12:00pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Army military honors followed by a luncheon at Sunset Memorial Chapel.
