Callie O’Neal 86 of Norwalk passed away on November 17, 2020 at Traylor House Hospice,
Callie Lou Fredrickson was born on July 31, 1934 in Peru, Iowa; she was the daughter of Clarence and Lela (Fowler) Fredrickson. She attended School in West Des Moines School District and was a graduate of Valley High School. Callie was united in marriage to Robert O’Neal and they were blessed with 4 wonderful children, Michael, Patty, Tom, and Jerry.
She had worked at Preferred Risk Insurance for a number of years. Callie was a wonderful seamstress, cook, artist, loved to sing and could play any instrument, enjoyed traveling, camping and loved her family. She had been a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary in West Des Moines and a member of the Norwalk Christian Church.
Left to cherish her memory is the father of the children, Robert O’Neal, her children, Patty O’Neal(David) Brommel, Tom(Kathy) O’Neal, grandchildren Christopher Brommel, Monica Brommel (Justin Davis), and Sarah O’Neal .
In death Callie rejoins her parents Clarence and Lela Fredrickson and sons, Michael O’Neal and Jerry O’Neal, siblings Gleason(Vivian) Fredrickson and Barbara Fredrickson (David) Campbell .
The family will be having a Visitation at Brooks Funeral Care 7975 University Blvd, Clive, Iowa and graveside service at Resthaven Cemetery on Friday, November 20, 2020.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Taylor House Hospice in memory of Callie.
