Barbara Clason, age 85 of Des Moines, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 13, 2024.
Barbara was born to Joe and Marguerite (Saint) Aeschliman in Memphis TN. She was one of 13 children and a mother to 6 boys. Barb was a very devout Christian, and her family and faith were very important to her. Barb was a mortgage loan officer for Well Fargo 16+ years she offered exceptional service to her clients and was regarded as one of the best by her peers. She enjoyed mentoring and working alongside several members of her family who chose to follow her in this career path. Barb enjoyed spending her time with her large family, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and countless nieces and nephews. She enjoyed preparing grand meals for her family for the holidays and was very skilled in the kitchen. She knew no strangers and was a conversationalist who enriched the lives of all she met. Barb was a selfless woman whose love knew no bounds. She enjoyed attending all gatherings with her family from little league sports, school musicals, high school plays, graduations, family reunions and many more. She was always flexible and would never say no to a new opportunity to try new things and she loved doing anything that allowed her to spend more time with the ones she loved.

Those left to cherish her memory are; sisters Vicky (Gary) Engle, Teresa (Dave) Steffen; brothers Chris (Joanne) Aeschliman, Stephen (Susan) Aeschliman, Thomas Aeschliman (Jackie); children Anthony (Colletta) Palladino Jr, Joe (Annabelle) Palladino, Chris Palladino; grandchildren Tony (Elma) Palladino, David (Savannah) Palladino, Austin (Tiffany) Palladino, Mia (Ryan) Reis, Sylas Palladino, Xella Palladino; greatgrandchildren Adriana Palladino, Brooklyn Palladino, Cecilia Palladino, Isabella, Ophelia Palladino, Ralph Vincent Palladino, David Palladino. Barbara is proceeded in death by her parents Joe and Margarite Aeschliman; husband Roger Clason; brother Joe Aeschliman; sisters Pat, Mary Lou, Shirley, Rita, Cecilia; and sons Ralph Palladino, David Palladino, and Mike Palladino.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sunset Memorial Chapel, 7601 Fleur Dr Des Moines, on Friday, April 19th at 11am.Â
