October 6, 2023, will be a day that weighs on our hearts for the years to come as our son, Armando Hernandez Cedillo passed away unexpectedly.
At 33 years of life Armando touched many lives in his short time here on earth. A young man who had a heart of gold, his smile lit up any room he walked into, and he would do anything he could for others. He loved spending time with his family, and memories of him laughing and joking with his loved ones can be felt despite of his absence. He was an independent and head-strong young man who was dedicated to his work and hobbies, but also to helping others in his life. In his youth he enjoyed baseball and grew to adore working with cars and fishing with his friends. Outside of his time at work he made sure to spend time with his family, especially his daughter, and to be a loving and affectionate father to her at every chance, a true defender and fighter for his family.
He leaves behind his 9-year-old daughter XioMaura that he coparented with Ruby Coos, his parents Ruben and Ronda Cedillo, brothers Ruben and Branden Cedillo, and Steven Schmidt, stepdaughter Sofia, his niece Kinsley, and mother Angie Martinez. His extended family members and friends will miss him dearly.
The Cedillo family would like to invite you all to a viewing and celebration of life for Armando on October 21st. The viewing will be at Sunset Memorial Chapel located at 7601 Fleur Drive from 1pm to 3pm, with the celebration of life following at American Legion Hall Hispanic Post 731 1511 South Union St from 4pm to 8pm.
