Alice Fae Allyn, 91, was surrounded by her family on August 20,2023 when she passed from pneumonia.
Alice was born June 17,1932 in Grinnell, Iowa to Ivan and Goldie Terry. Alice went to school in Norwalk. She married Donald Allyn on February 24, 1969. They lived and raised their family in Des Moines. Family and faith were very important to Alice.
She is survived by her husband, Don, children, Steve Sodder and Debbie O’ Lean and grandchildren. Alice has many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, and two daughters, Pam and Rebecca.
A visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 20, at 4:00p.m. with Funeral Service to start at 5:00p.m. There will be a time for fellowship immediately following the service until 7:00p.m.
Burial was completed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be directed to the family in loving memory of Alice.
